About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Migration Specialist to join our team and support our cloud transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling data migration and transformation processes, specifically focusing on migrating data to AWS platforms. This role involves working with Oracle data extraction, building ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, and ensuring data validation and integrity throughout the migration process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, AWS services, and scripting languages such as Python and SQL. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex data migration projects that are critical to our clients' digital transformation efforts, contributing to the seamless transition of data assets to cloud environments.
Qualifications
Proven experience with AWS Glue and other AWS data services Strong proficiency in Python programming Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques Experience with Oracle data extraction and ETL pipeline development Understanding of data validation and quality assurance processes Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant certifications in AWS or data management are a plus
