This work is vital to keep the Province's fleet safely on the road.What you will doReporting to the Mechanic Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: maintaining, repairing and installing automotive and related equipment. Work environment: Office location: Tide Head 40-hour work week, with variable hours, including evenings and weekends, when required. We promote a scent-reduced environment. Some travel within the region will be required.Who you areKey behavioural competencies: Analytical Thinking/Judgment Results Orientation Teamwork and CooperationEssential Qualifications: Possession of Journeyperson's certificates in the Automotive Service Technician (AST) and the Truck and Transport (T&T) trades as issued by the Province of New Brunswick Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.Please attach a copy of your certificates and driver's license with your application.An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in English or French is required. Please state your language capability. Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.
