  • Assist with vendor data reviews, technical queries, and procurement support activities

  • Contribute to project documentation such as design basis memorandums (DBMs) and work packages

Construction & Field Support

  • Assist with responses to RFIs and technical queries during construction

  • Support field engineering activities, including site visits and inspections as required

  • Help ensure designs remain practical, constructible, and aligned with project intent

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Follow established engineering quality processes and procedures

  • Support compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.1)

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

About You
You are an early-career mechanical engineer who is enthusiastic about designing practical piping systems and learning from experienced teams. You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)

  • Registered as an EIT or eligible for registration with APEGA (required)

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Technical Foundation

  • Basic understanding of piping systems, layouts, and equipment connections is considered an asset

  • Familiarity with P&IDs, piping drawings, and general facility design concepts is an asset

  • Understanding of industry design practices and standards

  • Exposure to ASME piping codes (e.g., B31.3) is considered an asset

  • Awareness of materials, fabrication, and installation practices is an asset

Software Proficiency

  • Exposure to piping design tools and 3D modeling environments (e.g., AutoCAD, CADWorx, Plant 3D, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Navisworks or model review tools is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
