You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel. How you will contribute You will: Partner & Enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participates in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; Owns the PM-Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the PM-Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; owns the R&M-Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; Represents the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team; Help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Advanced knowledge (including AM-Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 systems & Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment(s)at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (BD-Breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment(s) and TPM - Phase 3 & 4 tools problem solving tools The capability to lead a Role for the Line. Qualify and coach the next level SWP owners and drive the common opportunity areas across the line in PDCA-Plan Do Check Adjust approach The capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for the line, deploying and managing IDP for the members, coaching team members on their performance management and career development More about this role Position Summary The MRO Lead is responsible for overseeing all Maintenance, Repair, and Operations material management activities, ensuring optimal spare parts availability, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective procurement strategies. This role serves as the critical link between maintenance execution teams and supply chain operations, driving reliability-centered inventory practices aligned with TPM and RCM methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the MRO storeroom operations, ensuring proper receiving, storage, issuance, and cycle counting of maintenance spare parts and consumables. Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for all critical and essential equipment in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Establish and optimize Min/Max inventory levels using criticality analysis, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) data, and lead time considerations. Coordinate with Maintenance Planners and Reliability Engineers to forecast spare parts requirements based on PM schedules, predictive maintenance findings, and planned shutdowns. Implement and sustain a robust inventory classification system (ABC analysis) to prioritize stocking strategies and reduce carrying costs. Drive MRO cost reduction initiatives through vendor consolidation, standardization programs, and repair-vs-replace analysis. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance using OTD (On-Time Delivery) and quality KPIs. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for all stored materials (SDS management, FIFO/FEFO protocols). Lead continuous improvement projects using DMAIC methodology to reduce stockouts, obsolescence, and emergency purchases. Supervise MRO storeroom personnel, providing training on proper material handling, kitting procedures, and system transactions. Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) by ensuring traceability of parts used in repairs and maintaining failure-related material records. Generate and analyze MRO KPIs including inventory turns, stockout rate, fill rate, and spend-per-unit-of-production. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in MRO materials management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong working knowledge of CMMS platforms (SAP PM or equivalent). Demonstrated expertise in RCM-based spare parts strategies and TPM Pillar 5 (Early Management) principles. Proficiency in inventory optimization techniques: EOQ, ROP, safety stock calculations, and demand forecasting. Experience with warehouse management best practices (5S, visual management, barcode/RFID systems). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar). Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Certification in CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Inventory Accuracy: ≥ 95% (cycle count reconciliation) Stockout Rate: ≤ 2% for critical spares MRO Inventory Turns: Target 2.0–3.0 annually Emergency Purchase Orders: ≤ 5% of total MRO spend Fill Rate (Service Level): ≥ 97% Obsolete Inventory: ≤ 3% of total MRO inventory value Core Competencies Reliability-Centered Thinking: Aligns material strategies with equipment criticality and failure mode impact. Analytical Problem-Solving: Applies structured methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto) to material availability issues. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Drives Kaizen events and DMAIC projects for MRO process optimization. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborates effectively with Maintenance, Production, Procurement, and Finance teams. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 6% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
