Job Summary Accelyst is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to support the Cloud Access Security Platforms and Proactive Risk Management pillars of enterprise Cyber Security Strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Secure Service Edge (SSE), SASE technologies, cloud security architectures, and network security modernization. This role will provide architecture leadership, engineering support, and operational guidance for enterprise security platforms while collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in network security technologies, cloud infrastructure security, and architecture frameworks to support large, distributed, cross-platform environments.
Roles and Responsibilities: Provide architectural leadership and strategic guidance for Secure Service Edge (SSE) and network security modernization initiatives. Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SASE and SSE technology platforms across multiple environments and operating systems. Provide engineering and operational support for enterprise network security projects and cloud security platforms. Design, develop, recommend, implement, and manage technical security architectures across hardware, software, database, and communication layers. Support and administer security platforms including: Palo Alto Prisma Access Radware Web Application Firewall (WAF) Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Provide integration support and development efforts for design changes and new business requirements related to network security technologies. Collaborate with internal security teams, external partners, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and manage resolutions. Develop operational procedures and documentation to support business continuity and incident response. Identify emerging technologies and recommend security architecture improvements aligned with organizational goals. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs. Prepare conceptual, logical, and physical models for secure solution implementations. Support change management activities and deployment coordination for security technologies. Ensure architecture and engineering solutions align with industry frameworks, security policies, and strategic objectives. Provide guidance on ITIL-based operational processes and best practices. Participate in Agile delivery teams and support backlog grooming, user stories, sprint planning, and Scrum ceremonies. Support engineering implementation activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline preferred. Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise security architectures in large, secure environments. Advanced expertise with: Palo Alto Prisma Access Radware Web Application Firewall (WAF) Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Firewall Policy Management Cloud Infrastructure Network Architecture Security Groups and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs) Strong understanding of Secure Service Edge (SSE), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and MITRE frameworks. Experience with enterprise security services, identity technologies, database technologies, and network access protocols. Experience designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based applications and security solutions. Strong systems analysis and design experience within large-scale, secure environments. Knowledge and experience applying ITIL methodologies and operational best practices. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution architectures. Experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical process and data models. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively while consistently meeting project deadlines. Strong understanding of information management security principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile project delivery environments. Experience with: Scrum User Stories Sprint Planning Backlog Management Experience developing solution architecture and design documents. Strong knowledge of the TOGAF Architectural Framework. Experience with: Requirements Gathering Conceptual Design Detailed Design Engineering Implementation Support Solution Design Frameworks and Documentation Familiarity with emerging cloud security technologies and industry trends. Previous experience supporting enterprise-scale cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
