The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist plays a key role in executing Sobeys Inc.’s digital content strategy across all banner web and mobile platforms. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, this position supports an integrated vision to deliver a seamless, high-performing customer experience. As the owner of the weekly content calendar and a key coordination point for business-as-usual (BAU) digital activities, you’ll manage planning, deployment, and optimization of recurring initiatives. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help translate our digital experience vision into clear, impactful executions. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Lead cross-functional digital operations to align content execution, resolve blockers, and coordinate with internal teams (content, creative, analytics) and external partners to streamline workflows and support marketing strategies. Own and manage the weekly content calendar by leveraging Workfront and other tools, coordinating timelines, priorities, and dependencies across teams. Oversee accurate, timely, and localized content deployment across Sobeys Inc.’s web and mobile platforms, collaborating with the integration team on development workflows. Contribute to strategic planning and documentation of enhancements across web properties and digital marketing initiatives. Manage content publishing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, UX standards, accessibility, and responsiveness. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across marketing platforms and tools, maintaining documentation and training materials. Track project progress, measure campaign performance, monitor KPIs, escalate issues, and identify opportunities to optimize processes. Implement and enforce marketing processes, workflows, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and consistency. Stay updated on platform capabilities, marketing technology trends, digital best practices, and recommend improvements to optimize marketing effectiveness. What you have to offer: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, eCommerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing operations, campaign coordination, or content management. Strong experience managing digital calendars and workflows using tools like Workfront, Jira, or Asana. Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings, align stakeholders, and clearly communicate marketing and technical requirements. Proficiency in content management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager) and digital publishing workflows. Familiarity with SEO, UX best practices, and accessibility standards (e.g., AODA/WCAG 2.0). Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign) is an asset. Bilingual (French/English) with strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada Strong attention to detail and a high level of ownership and accountability.
