About The Role

As an Information Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting analytical and reporting needs across the organization. In this position, you will conceptualize, design, develop, and enhance reporting solutions to meet current and emerging program requirements, enabling data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for advanced querying, report generation, and data extraction from a variety of systems, including integrated environments. Working closely with business partners, data teams, and technical resources, you will help translate business needs into meaningful, actionable insights.

You will contribute to the development of scalable reporting solutions within the corporate architecture framework and support ongoing improvements to existing reporting and data solutions. The role also includes troubleshooting issues, supporting system enhancements and upgrades, and ensuring reporting outputs align with best practices and organizational standards.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Manager of Analytics & Data Quality, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain reports and analytical solutions to support business and program needs. Extract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple systems, including complex, integrated environments. Use advanced querying techniques (e.g., SQL, SAS) to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver meaningful reporting outputs. Translate data into clear insights through reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making. Work with Data Warehouse and technical teams to build and enhance solutions aligned with corporate architecture. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting and existing data solutions in production environments. Support planning, testing, and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and changes. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs through effective validation and testing processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools, and methodologies.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Knowledge is typically obtained through the completion of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related area of study. Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data-related roles in a complex environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience using SAS (Statistical Analysis System) for data management, statistical analysis, and reporting. Ability to analyze and monitor data to identify inconsistencies, trends, and data integrity issues, and resolve data quality concerns through root cause analysis. Proficiency in extracting, integrating, and validating data from multiple sources, including advanced SQL query writing to support reporting and business needs. Experience developing reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, with the ability to present data in meaningful and actionable ways. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, data teams, and technical resources to support data-driven solutions. Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to reporting and existing data solutions, while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to design, develop, and enhance reporting solutions, supported by a strong understanding of data governance standards and best practices. Knowledge of the health informatics industry is considered an asset. Experience using Microsoft Fabric is considered an asset.

Technical: Ability to apply knowledge of database concepts, data integration, and SQL/SAS/Python scripting, along with experience using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI to develop and support data quality solutions.
