YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Electrical General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Supervise and coordinate the shaft electrical/hoist team to ensure work is performed correctly, safely and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity;

Perform daily safety huddles with the team, communication for safety, fit for duty checks, and coordinate day to day activities;

Supervisor monthly compliance activities;

Identify and coordinate training for the electrical team;
-
Ensure the electrical team is trained to perform work safely;

Supervise and manage performance in step with set KPI’s including planned and responsive maintenance and shutdowns;

Schedule, review and sign off on S4HANNA work orders;

Assist trades personnel in the coordination of on-site activities and monitoring of progress;

Layout and plan the installation;

Quantify and order required material;

Ensure all electrical maintenance operations follow applicable regulations and trade practices;

Other tasks as directed from time to time.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Licenced Electrician (309A);
-
Experience reading & understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics;

Experience with mine hoists and hoisting regulation;

Experience with high voltage and protection relay;

Training in First Aid, H2S, CSTS/PST, & Fall Protection;

Valid Drivers Licence;

Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

- Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
