APJ Construction is seeking motivated and experienced Interior Construction Specialists to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, restaurant, retail, office, and institutional construction projects across Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Metal stud framing and wood framing.
• Drywall installation, boarding, patching, and repairs.
• Installation of doors, frames, hardware, and backing.
• Ceiling systems including T-bar and suspended ceilings.
• Flooring preparation and installation assistance.
• Millwork installation and finishing.
• Demolition and site preparation.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Material handling and site organization.
• Coordination with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Maintaining quality workmanship and site safety standards.
• Identifying and reporting deficiencies and site issues.
• Assisting with project completion and closeout activities.
• Performing all other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial construction, renovations, restaurant, retail, or office fit-outs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience with framing, drywall, ceilings, doors, millwork, and interior finishes.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
• Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
