The Opportunity: Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test activities, identifying and managing defects, and validating that new features and enhancements meet business and customer expectations before release. You will also leverage modern testing tools, including AI-assisted testing capabilities, to improve efficiency, increase test coverage, and support continuous delivery initiatives. The position will report to the Manager, IT Quality Assurance, and will be located in Toronto, Ontario. What You’ll Do: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend applications. Leverage AI-powered testing tools and automation frameworks to accelerate test design, execution, and test maintenance activities. Validate AI-enabled features, machine learning models, and generative AI capabilities for accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and quality risks throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into products from inception. Execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, usability, accessibility, and API testing activities. Utilize AI-assisted test generation and analysis tools to improve test coverage, reduce manual effort, and identify potential quality gaps. Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning sessions to identify risks and improve testability. Perform database validation and data quality testing within MS SQL Execute exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability concerns, and emerging risks not covered by scripted tests. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, AI testing practices, and quality engineering standards. Monitor and report on key quality metrics, test execution progress, automation coverage, and release health. Work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer experience What You’ll Need: 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and quality engineering practices. Knowledge of AI-assisted testing platforms and tools, including AI-generated test cases, defect analysis, or test optimization solutions. Experience working with database testing in MS SQL Server environments Familiarity with Azure DevOps Knowledge of test automation. Quick learner with proven ability to work under minimal guidance. Experience working with and testing web services – REST, SOAP, JSON. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
