Summary

We are seeking a Draftsperson to join our dynamic team at JOEL Theatrical Rigging Contractors. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the existing drafting team. Working on established designs and concepts, current projects and developing new products to ensure timely delivery of our high-quality rigging products. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our commitment to excellence in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Work on project drawings, ensure complete specifications are met in the design
• Develop shop drawings, machining/fabrication drawings
• Ensure that part numbers, drawings numbers are correct.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline drafting, fabrication and installation.

Requirements

• Experience with AutoCAD (SolidWorks an asset)
• Experience in mechanical design
• Strong spoken/written English

Strong ability to communicate ideas to finished drawings

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
