Payless Truck Parts is a wrecking yard in Abbotsford, where we dismantle & part out Heavy wrecks. We are looking for a Warehouse foreman/woman with specialized knowledge of heavy-duty truck components who will manage a crew of yard members.

Position Details

• Location: 4378 Bradner Road, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 1S8
• Salary: $35.00 ? $37.00 per hour (Negotiable)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Day & Early Morning shifts (includes Saturdays).
• Days off: Sunday & Monday.
• Benefits: Extended Health Benefits & 4% Vacation Pay.
• Start Date: As soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

As the Foreman/Woman, you are the backbone of our inventory and yard flow. This role requires a "hands-on" leader who is comfortable with both administrative oversight and physical logistics.

• Inventory & Parts Management: Maintain a rigorous inventory of heavy truck parts. You will be responsible for monitoring accessory stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring all parts are correctly logged and stored.
• Yard & Equipment Oversight: Ensure the yard is orderly and safe. You will arrange for the maintenance and repair of forklifts and keep all specialized tools in clean, working condition.
• Technical Operations: Operate forklifts to handle and move large engine parts. Assist with the heavy lifting involved in loading and unloading shipments.
• Leadership: Establish work schedules, coordinate with other departments, and train/assist forklift operators in company policies and safety procedures.
• Logistics & Admin: Schedule deliveries and pickups, provide timely follow-ups on yard inquiries, and perform customer service or office work as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Expertise in truck parts is essential. You must be able to identify, categorize, and manage inventory specific to the trucking and repair industry.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a automotive yard or warehouse environment.
• Education: Grade 12 minimum.
• Certifications: * Valid Driver?s License (Required)
• Forklift Operator Certificate (Required)
• Traits: High level of organization, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain accurate reports in a fast-paced setting.
