Job Title: SDET Location: Mississauga, ON - Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time

Candidates must hold ISTQB – Foundation & Advanced Level certification.

Role: Test Automation Engineer / SDET Key Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Test Automation / SDET role • Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Automation with Java using BDD (Cucumber) • Proven expertise in REST API testing using REST Assured • Strong knowledge of SQL / Oracle for backend data validation • Experience working with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines • Working knowledge of Docker for test environment setup • Basic to intermediate proficiency in JavaScript • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and BDD • Perform API automation and validation using REST Assured • Create and execute automated test cases for web and backend systems • Perform database validation using SQL / Oracle queries • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines • Execute tests within Dockerized environments • Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to closure • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the release cycle • Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project timelines

Domain: • Experience in Healthcare / Insurance / BFS domain is preferred
