We are looking for a Credit Risk Reporting — Database Developer / Integrator to join one of our clients, a major corporate investment bank, within the Finance & Risk Systems (F&RS) Risk IT team. The role is part of a strategic initiative to replace an existing RWA calculation and reporting tool (Moody’s) with a new in-house solution

Position Overview The Database Developer / Integrator is a hands-on technical role embedded within the F&RS Risk IT team. The resource will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of a new in-house RWA (Risk-Weighted Asset) calculation and reporting platform, as part of a study and replacement initiative targeting the existing Moody’s tooling. The role covers the full data lifecycle — from connecting to upstream banking data sources to building calculation engines, regulatory report mappings, and management dashboards — with a strong emphasis on Oracle database development and PL/SQL expertise. The resource must be capable of working autonomously and delivering independently within the Risk IT team

Key Responsibilities Requirements Translation & Data Integration iCollaborate with Business Analysts to transform business rules and regulatory requirements into precise technical specifications Connect to multiple banking data sources (Oracle DB, external feeds, CSV files) and design the required data pipeline Implement integration logic to map granular source data to MDRMs (Minimum Data Reporting Metrics — regulatory report line items

Database Design & Administration Create and optimize Oracle schemas, tables, indexes, and materialized/canned views Manage database users, roles, and security in line with internal governance standards Perform performance profiling and tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code, implementing indexing and partitioning strategies to meet latency targets Recommend hardware or cloud resource adjustments to support performance requirements

PL/SQL Development & Calculation Engin Write stored procedures, functions, and packages to perform data extraction, transformation, and RWA calculations Build credit risk calculation logic (RWA — Risk-Weighted Assets), ensuring full traceability to regulatory formulas (Basel framework) and internal parameters Design and implement cursors and SQL stored procedures as part of the core calculation process Reporting & Dashboa Build canned regulatory reports and management dashboards using BI and data discovery to Implement MDRM mapping logic to align granular data with the regulatory reporting line items Contribute to front-end UI design and build as needed (Java, Angular, Oracle APEX, or equivalent) Testing, Documentation & Knowledge Trans Design and execute unit test suites; perform back-testing against existing RWA reports and document all discrepancies Produce technical design documents, data dictionaries, and user guides Conduct handover sessions and knowledge transfer to internal team members

Qualifications & Technical Skills Required Skills Expert-level Oracle database design: schemas, tables, indexes, views, partitioning, and performance tuning Strong PL/SQL and SQL proficiency, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and cursors Expert-level application and data integration, including multi-source data pipeline In-depth experience with ETL tools and ETL best practices Strong version control skills, particularly GitHub or equivalent Strong written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work autonomously and deliver independently within a technical team

Nice-to-Have Sk Written and verbal communication skills in Fr Familiarity with the banking sector, particularly Risk and Finance domains Knowledge of Basel regulation pillars (credit risk, market risk, RWA calculation) ons)UI development experience: Java, Angular, Oracle APEX, or equivalent Familiarity with Python for data processing or performance tuning tasks

Preferred Certificat Oracle Database SQL / PL/SQL Certified Professional or equivalent Any relevant data engineering or ETL certification is a plus

Experience 5+ years of hands-on Oracle database development experience in a production environment, with strong PL/SQL experience Demonstrated experience delivering data integration and ETL pipelines connecting heterogeneous banking data solutions Prior experience building calculation engines or processing pipelines in a financial or regulated environment Exposure to risk or finance reporting systems (RWA, Basel regulatory reporting, or equivalent) is a strong asset Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery teams in a financial institution Prior work on tool replacement or greenfield platform build projects in a banking context is highly valued
