Job Description
Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for a Maintenance Worker for a Remote Lodge loated in White River Ontario. Strong experience and a familiarity with remote maintenance work is required. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting and performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in a remote camp setting in assigned area(s). Preventative maintenance work as well as trouble shooting for all construction and maintenance projects to sustain optimal performance while minimizing operating costs. This position requires a license to drive.
Comprehensive benefit packages are offered. Transportation is provided out of Thunder Bay, ON Rotation are 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Drivers License required Drivers Abstract required
Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a criminal background checkJob Responsibilities Routine Maintenance
Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment Conduct preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., lubricating, cleaning, adjustingcomponents) Replace worn or damaged parts before failure
Repairs and Fixes
Repair plumbing issues (leaks, clogged drains, fixture replacements) Perform minor electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets) Fix doors, locks, windows, and basic structural components Patch and paint walls as needed
Equipment Maintenance
Maintain tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment Report major equipment failures for specialized repair Ensure proper storage and handling of tools
Groundskeeping (if applicable)
Maintain outdoor areas (mowing, trimming, snow removal) Keep walkways and entrances safe and clear Perform seasonal maintenance tasks Cleaning and Upkeep Perform general cleaning of maintenance areas Dispose of waste and debris properly Assist with deep cleaning or emergency cleanups Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
