We are currently seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Electronics Design Engineer to be part of our high‑end scanning products R&D team.

As a successful candidate for this role, you have excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, advanced electronics design knowledge, good communication skills, and a desire to tackle challenges. You will use your skills and initiative within a team environment to develop novel camera designs for world‑class imaging products.

What You Will Do:

  • Schematic capture and PCB layout supervising of circuit design.
  • Design of high-speed circuits and board to board interconnects using the latest FPGAs, DDR memories, clock generators and distributors, high speed cables and connectors.
  • Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic systems and components for linescan camera products. This includes power distribution, signal routing, and control subsystems for integrated sensor platforms as well as communication and data interfaces.
  • Selection of electronic parts. Supporting parts procurement and supply chain monitoring.
  • Select components, analyze power and signal integrity, create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical documentation
  • Apply EMI/EMC design principles and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Interact with mechanical, FPGA, embedded software, and test engineers.
  • Work with our Sustaining Engineering group with issues that they are dealing with.
  • Work closely with Systems, Software, Firmware, Mechanical, and PCB Layout teams to refine requirements, define interfaces, and ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Oversee the layout of complex high‑frequency PCBs
  • Conduct design reviews, create and execute verification test plans.
  • Participate in project reviews of you own doing and from other departments.
  • Prepare and present diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations to support team decisions.
  • Participate in all aspects of the project life cycle including concept definition and trade-offs, requirements development, design, testing, release, and maintenance.
  • Provide senior‑level engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience developing PCBs and interconnects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools and lab test equipment
  • Applied knowledge of high-speed signal design and analysis
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC issues and be able to support the testing of such
  • Understand the principles of signal integrity.
  • Experience with electronics simulation tools including EMI, signal attenuation and crosstalk analysis
  • Familiarity with FPGA blocks including multi-gigabit transceivers, memory, and micro-controller interfaces, PLLs, hard and soft cores.
  • Excellent knowledge of switching power supply and linear power supply design.
  • Experience with opamps, ADCs and DACs.
  • Ability to write and execute on a test plan
  • Understand and optimize cost pressures while maintaining quality of product
  • Optimize a design for power consumption

Asset qualifications:

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics PCB design tools.
  • Experience in high-speed PCB simulations.
  • Able to take full advantage of AI tools.

Salary Range:

$93,700.00-$124,900.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
