The Material Distribution Agency is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Medical Equipment Storekeeper.

Duties:
The Medical Equipment Storekeeper delivers, assembles, and collects new and used medical equipment in private homes. The role requires providing respectful, customer focused service at all times. Responsibilities include planning and completing daily deliveries in different weather conditions, as well as performing minor repairs. The Medical Equipment Storekeeper also cleans and disinfects used equipment to ensure all products meet cleanliness and functionality standards.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Experience providing superior customer service to diverse clientele Experience driving a company vehicle to deliver and pick up products Experience installing, maintaining, repairing, or operating medical and/or mechanical equipment or machinery Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with the public and coworkers Experience completing work orders with accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
Desired:
Experience working in a warehouse environment, including order picking and packing, stock rotation, and storage Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety, Personal Protective Equipment and safety rules
Conditions of Employment:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must possess and maintain a valid full Class 5 Manitoba driver's licence Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (Including a Vulnerable Sector Search) Must be physically capable of lifting and moving loads weighing up to 36 kgs or 80 lbs in adverse weather Willingness to participate and obtain a Power Forklift and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification via Air and by Ground
