Landev Consulting is a growing civil engineering firm working across BC's Sunshine Coast and Sea-to-Sky corridor. We are opening a new Squamish office and are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to help establish our presence in the region. Our team has delivered Squamish projects including SEAandSKY, Garibaldi Springs, Sirocco, and The Main.

This is a multi-role position suited to someone who likes variety, ownership, and a fast-moving small team. It is not pure design and not pure project management.

Responsibilities

• Design civil land development projects: subdivisions, servicing, stormwater and drainage, and municipal infrastructure
• Produce design and drafting in Civil 3D
• Conduct site and construction inspections across the Sea-to-Sky corridor
• Support municipal approvals such as permits and rezoning, and coordinate with the District of Squamish, Town of Gibsons, and the SCRD
• Coordinate servicing with utilities such as BC Hydro
• Optionally take on project management responsibilities

Qualifications

• P.Eng registered with EGBC, or an EIT with a few years of experience working toward licensure
• Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience; land development experience an asset
• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Familiarity with MMCD standards; equivalent municipal experience considered for those new to BC
• Valid driver's licence for site inspections
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
