The worldwide Technical Support team of ~3000 is committed to the success of our customers through outstanding technical support. We actively investigate customer issues by mastering diverse technologies and by working intensively with the products we offer. We measure our success by customer satisfaction.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Among other responsibilities, you should expect to do many of the following:

  • Investigate and resolve critical system issues for Enterprise level Fortune 500 companies.
  • Analyzing complex, real world, unique problems; often working in production environments.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent diagnostic and technical analysis skills
  • Good understanding of SQL language
  • Good understanding of Relational Databases (HANA, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent industry experience

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Support or administration experience of databases such as HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2
  • Experience with SAP ERP Systems
  • Support or administration experience with Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX
  • Knowledge of SQL Programming and Data Warehousing principles
  • Prior customer service or customer support experience

The targeted combined range for this position is 42300-92100CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
