**Requirements:**

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the automotive industry.

- Registration with the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.

- Possession of a valid Ontario 310S license.

- A valid Ontario G driver?s license.

- A clean Driver?s Abstract.

- Previous experience at Kia/Hyundai is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.

- EV certification with Kia is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.

**Responsibilities:**

As a Licensed Technician at Trento Kia, you'll be responsible for:

- Performing maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles as well as other makes.

- Efficiently and accurately executing tasks outlined in repair orders.

- Providing recommendations for services that enhance vehicle performance and ensure safety.

- Utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment while promptly reporting any equipment issues.

- Upholding a consistently clean and organized shop environment.

- Strictly adhering to safety regulations within the shop.

- Pursuing necessary education and training to become a registered Kia EV technician.

- Enrolling in and completing Kia University Technical Training courses as required.

- Fulfilling other tasks assigned by management as needed.
