Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate. Forklift Operator Certification. Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Equipment and machinery experience: Gas welding machine. Area of specialization: Custom fabrication. Structural construction. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
