As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have an exciting, challenging career opportunity for a Senior Die Designer. Our stamping processes utilize both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

This is for a vacant position.

Wage range: $30.00 - $37.00

Responsibilities include:

• Designing progressive, transfer and line dies

• Interacting with customers regarding design reviews and follow-up

• Providing technical support to machining/tryout/build throughout the die manufacturing process

• Maintaining documentation records of complete die design

• Creating process layouts for part data

• Develop trim lines/ morph surfaces/troubleshoot

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years tool design experience

• Solid background in metal stamping, an asset

• Skills in 3D design and Solid Modelling

• AutoForm experience, an asset

• ProE/Creo 7.0 experience required

• NX experience, an asset

• Ability to train juniors in design

• Ability to work independently
