Must have: Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 8+ years of experience leading software testing and quality assurance initiatives for large-scale enterprise applications and system integrations Extensive experience developing and executing end-to-end test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution activities for complex multi-system environments Demonstrated experience testing healthcare interoperability solutions utilizing HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7v2, and HL7v3 standards Proven experience validating healthcare integrations involving Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and clinical applications Hands-on expertise in API testing using tools such as Postman, vRest, or equivalent API testing frameworks Strong experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks utilizing Selenium and Playwright Experience testing RESTful APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, and secure data exchange processes Demonstrated experience interpreting FHIR implementation guides and translating technical specifications into comprehensive test scenarios and validation procedures Experience working with healthcare interoperability platforms, integration engines, and eReferral solutions such as Ocean, Novari, or similar systems Strong experience coordinating integration testing activities with internal teams, vendors, external partners, and healthcare organizations Experience testing cloud-based applications and integrations leveraging AWS services and event-driven architectures Practical experience validating messaging and notification workflows utilizing AWS Pinpoint and AWS End User Messaging services Strong knowledge of healthcare privacy, security, identity management, and access control frameworks including SMART on FHIR authorization and authentication flows Experience managing test environments, test data preparation, defect management, root cause analysis, and production readiness activities Proven experience leading testing efforts within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies Strong experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or equivalent platforms Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, documentation, and reporting skills Experience working within healthcare, public sector, digital health, hospital, or large-scale enterprise environments is highly preferred Experience with EPIC integrations is strongly preferred Familiarity with ONC Inferno, AEGIS Touchstone, Synthea, Pact, AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and accessibility testing frameworks is considered an asset.

Role and Responsibilities: Lead the overall testing strategy, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities for complex healthcare integration and digital health initiatives Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test schedules, resource plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance frameworks Lead end-to-end API, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing activities across multiple platforms and stakeholders Validate HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7v2, and HL7v3 integrations against implementation guides, technical specifications, and interoperability standards Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Postman, vRest, and related testing tools Coordinate testing activities involving Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EPIC, clinical applications, healthcare vendors, and external integration partners Validate secure healthcare data exchange, authentication, authorization, and privacy controls across integrated systems and APIs Lead testing efforts related to AWS cloud services, serverless architectures, messaging platforms, and notification delivery workflows utilizing AWS Pinpoint and AWS End User Messaging Manage test environment readiness, test data creation, test execution schedules, defect triage processes, and issue resolution activities Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and readiness criteria throughout the project lifecycle Facilitate defect review sessions, test status meetings, stakeholder updates, and quality assurance governance activities Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, security teams, healthcare stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure complete test coverage and successful project delivery Establish requirements traceability and ensure comprehensive alignment between business requirements, technical specifications, and test coverage Prepare and present executive-level testing reports, dashboards, quality metrics, risk assessments, and production readiness recommendations Lead production readiness assessments, release validation activities, and final quality assurance sign-off processes Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards, privacy requirements, security policies, organizational governance frameworks, and quality management best practices Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, automation coverage, test processes, and quality assurance practices Serve as the primary quality assurance lead and trusted advisor for stakeholders, providing recommendations on testing strategy, risk mitigation, interoperability validation, and production readiness decisions.
