About the role
Irving Paper is hiring for an Instrumentation (E&I) Tradesperson at the Irving Paper Mill in Saint John, New Brunswick. This position reports to the E&I Team Leader within the Maintenance Department.
As an E&I Tradesperson, you will perform all aspects of instrumentation maintenance and repairs at the Irving Paper, including:

Instrument calibration, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation devices

Valve repair and maintenance (including associated components and control devices)

Troubleshooting, programming, to maintain and improve existing:
- Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Rockwell Programmable Logic Control systems (PLC)
- Mill process control systems

Supporting continuous improvement through instrument tuning and system/program changes

Participating in on-call coverage and shift work as required

Instrumentation Journeyperson License or an Industrial Controls Technology Diploma

Industrial experience in a similar industry considered an asset

Working knowledge of plant instrumentation , Honeywell Distributed Control Systems , and PLC systems
