Fireplace Technician Reports To: General Manager and/or Operations Manager Status: Full-time, Regular Location Name: Classic Fireplace Location Address: Calgary, AB Position Summary: As a member of our team, you will be providing support to our Fireplace Technicians, as well as loading and unloading materials from the truck and organizing truck stock. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work. Install Fireplace equipment, as well as accessories, in an accurate and timely manner. Complete other related equipment installations as required. Responsible for delivering excellent service to customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Handle customer concerns, questions, or problems in an effective manner. Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels. Qualifications: The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred). Prior experience working in the construction or HVAC industry. Must possess all valid licensing or certifications as required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area. Prior Sheet Metal Experience Experience wiring controls, thermostats, HRV, and furnace Must have basic hand tools Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills. Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills. Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment. The ability to perform minor field fabrication as well as work with power tools. The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required. Valid Driver's License with clean driver's abstract The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
