Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Monitor quality and production levels. Check products for quality control. Check and monitor product quality. Supervision: Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate. Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Regulations knowledge: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Reliability. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Do you meet the language requirements listed in the job posting for the position (English or French)?.
