The RBC Enterprise DevOps team is looking for someone like you! Someone who is an outstanding engineering minded Product Manager, that will deliver strategic value horizontally across RBC. In this role, you will drive the product vision, roadmap, and development of RBC's developer platform by working closely with senior leadership, product owners, and development/business teams. You will leverage deep knowledge in software delivery and DevOps to improve developer experience, code quality, and application security and compliance of the RBC application portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of technical teams and business teams to accelerate and expand RBC DevOps team growth. What will you do? Drive AI-SDLC adoption & enablement Define and own the enterprise AI-SDLC methodology and spec-driven development framework, establishing standards for how AI-powered products are scoped, specified, built, and shipped across the organization Build and execute an internal adoption strategy, partnering with engineering, design, and ML/AI teams to embed the framework into day-to-day product development workflows Develop enablement programs, workshops, and documentation that equip product and engineering teams to apply spec-driven development practices consistently Serve as the internal authority and evangelist for AI-SDLC methodology, influencing without authority across business units and product verticals Establish a community of practice and feedback loop to continuously surface what's working, what isn't, and where the framework needs refinement Product leadership & team management Lead and develop a team of product managers, setting a high bar for specification quality, strategic thinking, and cross-functional execution Define team OKRs and operating rhythms that connect individual PM work to broader methodology goals and business outcomes Mentor PMs on spec-driven development practices, helping them grow into strong AI product thinkers who can operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments Governance & quality Define and oversee AI governance guardrails within the SDLC, including responsible AI checkpoints, human-in-the-loop design requirements, and auditability standards Work with legal, compliance, and security stakeholders to ensure the methodology accounts for enterprise risk requirements across regulated industries What do you need to succeed? Must Haves: 8+ years of Product Management & Agile experience in technology driving product discussions, market scans, user experience research efforts, software development, and delivery Strong software engineering knowledge foundation, including advanced knowledge and experience in DevOps, SRE, and more Experience working with data analytics - Elastic, Logstash & Kibana (ELK) is definitely a bonus Ability to work collaboratively across teams and work independently to creatively solve problems Be an excellent communicator, negotiator and translator who can connect technology and business audiences, tailoring messaging and approach Relevant education in Computer Science, Business or Marketing with hands-on experience in API delivery, Data Management and/or Business Analytics Proven track record of driving cross-functional adoption of a new process, standard, or methodology across multiple teams or business units Experience with Spec Driven Development (SDD): PRDs, functional specs, acceptance criteria; with a strong point of view on what "good" looks like Experience managing and developing a team of product managers, including setting expectations, coaching, and performance management What’s in it for you?
