Position Summary:

We are seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect to bring deep Salesforce ecosystem, enterprise architecture, and technical pre-sales expertise to Kindsight’s most complex enterprise sales cycles. Kindsight’s Ascend CRM is an enterprise-grade CRM solution built on Salesforce as a managed package. As we support large universities, healthcare organizations, foundations, and nonprofit institutions, customers often require detailed technical guidance around Salesforce architecture, data, integrations, security, privacy, permissions, APIs, reporting, migration, and technical validation. This role will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, and Security teams to help customers understand how Kindsight fits into their existing Salesforce and broader enterprise technology environment. The Enterprise Solution Architect will support technical discovery, RFP responses, architecture reviews, security reviews, final presentations, and expansion conversations with existing customers. This is an individual contributor role with a leadership mindset. The ideal candidate will help Kindsight build more internal technical self-sufficiency, reduce reliance on external Salesforce resources during key sales pursuits, and help define what strong Solution Architecture looks like as the function continues to scale.

Success in this role means strengthening Kindsight’s technical voice throughout the enterprise sales process. This includes improving win rates, reducing late-stage technical risk, accelerating security and RFP reviews, building reusable technical assets, and enabling Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to confidently address repeatable Salesforce, data, integration, and architecture questions. What You’ll Do:

Lead or support technical discovery across Salesforce architecture, data models, integrations, migration, security, permissions, reporting, governance, and customer enterprise architecture. Advise Enterprise Account Executives and Solutions Engineers on solution fit, architecture options, integration approach, implementation considerations, and technical risk. Translate complex technical requirements into clear business-relevant narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. Support strategic enterprise sales cycles, including RFP responses, architecture reviews, security reviews, final presentations, customer workshops, and technical validation sessions. Help answer ‘why Kindsight / why Ascend’ technical questions, especially when customers are evaluating Kindsight alongside Salesforce-native options. Provide guidance on Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, MuleSoft, APIs, integration patterns, security, permissions, reporting, and managed package considerations. Engage credibly with CIOs, Chief Data Officers, IT leaders, CRM leaders, data teams, security teams, integration teams, project managers, and executive stakeholders. Surface technical risks and dependencies earlier in the sales process to reduce late-stage surprises and improve buyer confidence. Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, Security, and Support to improve technical readiness across the business. Create reusable technical discovery frameworks, architecture narratives, diagrams, FAQs, RFP response content, documentation, and enablement materials. Co-author the playbook for what Solution Architecture should look like at Kindsight. Help Account Executives and Solutions Engineers handle common Salesforce, data, integration, security, and architecture questions more independently.

What We’re Looking For:

6–10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technical pre-sales, Salesforce consulting, CRM architecture, Salesforce implementation, or related enterprise SaaS roles. Strong Salesforce ecosystem knowledge, including architecture, configuration concepts, data models, security, permissions, integrations, APIs, reporting, and managed package considerations. Experience supporting complex enterprise SaaS sales cycles, technical validation, RFPs, security reviews, architecture reviews, or customer workshops. Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. Strong understanding of enterprise CRM architecture, data architecture, integration patterns, APIs, security, privacy, permissions, and reporting. Ability to engage IT, security, data, CRM, integration, and executive stakeholders with credibility and confidence. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, business-relevant narratives. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Implementation, Security, and Support. Ability to build reusable enablement materials, technical documentation, and sales assets. Collaborative, curious, team-first, commercially pragmatic, and open to feedback. Comfort operating as an individual contributor while helping define and scale a new or developing function.

Nice to have: Salesforce certifications or equivalent hands-on Salesforce ecosystem experience; Salesforce Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Education Cloud experience; experience with Salesforce managed packages or Salesforce ISV environments; experience in nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, advancement, fundraising technology, or complex CRM environments; experience creating solution architecture playbooks, discovery guides, diagrams, FAQs, or RFP response libraries.

Compensation Range: $190,000 - $225,000 CAD OTE annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
