Looking for experienced carpenter to join our growing team. Muskoka Custom Building projects range from high end custom cottages to docks and boathouses in the Muskoka area. Offering competitive wages and benefit package.

Ideal candidates skills or experience include:

-Reading and interpreting construction drawings

-Basic knowledge of the Ontario Building Code

-Tidy framing skills

-Detailed trim and finishing installations (shiplap, v-joint, ceiling trims, casements etc)

-Highly motivated with a ?can do? attitude and interest to learn new skills and processes

-Reliable team player who is able to work 40 hours a week minimum

-Able to work with others, lead a small team, and/or with minimal supervision

-5+ years experience in residential construction considered an asset

Other requirements:

-Valid G drivers license with clean abstract

• Ability to read/write/speak fluently in English

-Basic tools (hammer, hand tools, tape measure, safety boots etc)

-Must be able to provide own transportation to/from job sites throughout Muskoka

-Ability to work outside in the elements (cold, snow, rain, bugs etc)

-Boaters license considered an asset

-Experience operating small equipment considered an asset (skid steer, excavator)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
