THE ROLE
We are hiring a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our fabrication team in Burlington, ON. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being part of a close-knit, collaborative team.
In this hands-on role, you will fabricate, fit, and weld a variety of structural steel and custom metal components used in industrial and construction projects. Working from blueprints and technical drawings, you'll ensure each project is completed with precision, quality, and safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities
Fit and weld large industrial lifting equipment Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Skilled in MCAW, FCAW SAW and SMAW processes Machine, mill, and drill components as needed Assist in the mechanical assembly of related equipment and technologies Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times Complete daily time entry accurately
Requirements
Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter Minimum 5 years of fitting experience Ability to operate material-handling equipment Strong attention to detail and quality of work Positive attitude and eagerness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing deadlines Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings CWB certification is an asset
