Reporting to the Production Manager, the supervisor plays a key role in achieving production targets in terms of quality, volume, cost, and timelines, while fostering a strong culture of health and safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. As a change agent, the Production Supervisor contributes to operational transformation by promoting efficiency, accountability, and employee engagement. Coordinate daily production operations (receiving, processing, packaging, shipping) while meeting deadlines and customer requirements Ensure achievement of the production plan in terms of volume, quality, and cost Manage raw materials, ingredients, and cleaning supplies efficiently Plan and optimize workforce requirements based on operational needs Supervise, engage, and develop teams, fostering collaboration and accountability Maintain a positive work environment and ensure compliance with collective agreements Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, and food safety standards Track KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance Manage employee lifecycle (hiring, training, performance reviews, discipline, compensation) and support the implementation of organizational objectives and policies ‘The individual who will own this role’ Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in the food or dairy industry is an asset Experience in a unionized environment is an asset College diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, food processing, or a related field An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered An environment that values engagement and encourages everyone to take initiative.
