Essential Proficiencies · Functional Testing Expertise: Strong experience in functional, regression, and integration testing. · Test Design & Documentation: Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. · Defect Tracking: Proficiency in defect management using tools such as JIRA or similar. · Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze requirements and identify edge cases. · Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Role Description · Actively participate in requirements elaboration sessions, sprint planning, release readiness reviews, and other Agile ceremonies. · Design, develop, and execute functional test plans and detailed test cases based on business and product requirements. · Document, log, and track defects using defect management tools; ensure clear communication of issues to relevant teams. · Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects identified during testing. · Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate new features and ensure no impact on existing functionality. · Prepare high-quality test documentation and present test results and recommendations to stakeholders. · Coordinate demo activities with business stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary. · Utilize Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) to track and manage testing activities.
