Job Description and Responsibilities At Interpro quality is second only to safety. We currently have an opening at our Edmonton facility for a dynamic leader with a proven track record as a Shift Supervisor. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for scheduling, providing direction, coordinating, training, and leading your crew to achieve or exceed planned safety, production, quality, and recovery targets while minimizing costs. Drive results by optimizing operations to increase productivity and improve Yield, First Pass Yield, Setup, Troubleshooting, and Changeovers Ensure compliance with all aspects of the safety, health, environmental, and quality programs Plan, align, and direct daily production activities to ensure daily production requirements are met and/or exceeded and conformance with the monthly shipping plan is assured Due diligence, make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of the employees Conduct monthly safety meetings Work with operators and stakeholders to effectively solve problems Provide or arrange training for employees to meet the standards of the job they are performing Support all company and regulatory requirements Effectively report mechanical/electrical concerns immediately and contribute to failure analysis Engage employees in continuous improvement to identify and eliminate waste Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience 5+ years of CNC machining and Programming experience In-depth knowledge of CNC programming, machine operation, and maintenance. Previous experience leading a team and overseeing work preferred Demonstrated business operations and process improvement experience Understanding and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations and safety standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to motivate team Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel API and Premium connection knowledge 2+ years Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
