About The Role

As a UX/UI Designer II at Prodigy Education, you will serve as a critical link between complex user challenges and intuitive, engaging design solutions. Your role involves creating visually appealing interfaces and interactive elements by leveraging existing market research and innovative design principles. Working within a cross‑functional squad, you will utilize evidence‑based design practices to enhance user engagement and retention for millions of students worldwide. Your work will directly influence the user experience, making learning enjoyable and accessible for diverse learners. You will collaborate closely with Art, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure a seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics, fostering a cohesive and delightful user journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an impactful mission while honing your design expertise in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Interaction Design and Visual Design within digital products or gaming environments Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar Experience conducting user research, interviews, and synthesizing data into actionable insights Understanding of behavioral economics and its application to user engagement strategies Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to give and receive constructive feedback Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment Portfolio demonstrating a user-obsessed approach to solving complex UX challenges Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes Knowledge of AI tools and their integration into design workflows (bonus)

Responsibilities

Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces, including layouts, transitions, and interactive elements that facilitate seamless navigation Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions Create high-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas quickly, enabling rapid iteration and refinement Apply principles of behavioral psychology to influence user engagement, retention, and monetization strategies Collaborate with Art, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure cohesive design implementation that aligns with brand standards Participate in weekly craft sessions and design reviews to continuously improve skills and share knowledge Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team Support the integration of AI tools into the design process to enhance efficiency and creativity (bonus)
