About Our Client Our client is an established manufacturing company with over 25 years of history. They are seeking to hire an experienced Director of Manufacturing to join their team. They are looking for someone who has extensive work experience working for a company that manufactures bathroom, kitchen, cabinet or store fixtures or furniture manufacturing.

Location: Toronto, 100% On Site Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy. Compensation : $110,000 - $130,000 per year + bonus

Responsibilities Oversees product manufacturing and ensure that quality products are produced Optimize workflow and plant layout to improve throughout Makes requests for equipment improvement as well as capital investment Develops budgets and manages KPI’s Prepare and present quotations. Delivers reports to senior management

Qualifications Degree or diploma in engineering or business 10+ years experience as a Production/Manufacturing manager or experience as a Director (Manufacturing/Production) with a company that manufactures bathroom/kitchen/cabinet manufacturing, stores fixtures manufacturing or furniture manufacturing or another similar industry Experience managing KPI’s such as scrap, labor efficiency and production metrics Budget management experience Must be comfortable working on the shop floor. This could include lifting up to 15 pounds
