Automotive Service Technician — German Vehicle Specialist Sheni’s Auto-Trend | Calgary, AB | Full-Time | On-Site Pay: $40–$45/hour, based on experience About Sheni’s Auto-Trend Sheni’s Auto-Trend is a family-owned independent automotive shop in Calgary specializing in BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, and other European vehicles. For over 40 years, we’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship, honest advice, and strong long-term customer relationships. Diagnostics are at the core of how we work. We are looking for a technician who can properly trace faults, read wiring diagrams, and solve problems accurately instead of replacing parts until something works. We are a stable, low-ego, team-focused shop where people stay because the work is interesting, the standards are high, and the environment is respectful. The Role We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician with strong hands-on experience working on German and European vehicles. You will be diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles alongside a skilled team. This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and values doing the job properly the first time. You will have access to factory-level diagnostic tools, including ISTA, ODIS, and Xentry, along with the support and equipment needed to perform accurate diagnostics and quality repairs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, and other European vehicles Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics using scan tools, wiring diagrams, and proper testing procedures Complete repairs and maintenance accurately and efficiently Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs or service recommendations Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Follow shop procedures and quality standards Take ownership of your work without cutting corners What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with German or European vehicles Strong diagnostic ability, especially with electrical and electronic systems Comfortable using OBD/scan tools and reading wiring diagrams Experience with BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and/or Volkswagen preferred Red Seal certification is a strong asset Efficient, detail-oriented, and quality-focused Reliable, team-oriented, and professional Able to work independently without needing constant supervision What We Offer $40–$45/hour, depending on experience Full-time, stable position with an established Calgary shop Factory-level diagnostic tools provided, including ISTA, ODIS, and Xentry Employee pricing on parts and services Extended health care Dental care Paid time off On-site parking Store discount Room to grow and ongoing training opportunities Schedule Monday to Friday, full-time.
