Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements
• Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, suspension components, and electrical systems
• Utilize welding skills for bodywork or structural repairs when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with assembly of vehicle components during repairs or rebuilds
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose issues
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Dealership experience is preferred but not required
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics accurately
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Valid driver?s license preferred; relevant certifications or ASE certification is a plus

Pay: $19.00-$40.00 per hour
