Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will be part of the Site Services and Infrastructure Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all applicable gas equipment; Perform repairs and maintenance on all water and sewer distribution systems; Perform repairs and maintenance on all used oil boilers; Actively participate in developing and building preventative maintenance schedules and objectives; Support all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and maintain the safe operation of all applicable units; Communicate with other trades worker to coordinate maintenance activities; Complete work orders as assigned by the Infrastructure Maintenance Supervisor; Report back to Infrastructure Maintenance Supervisor regarding status and completion of assigned work.
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial or mining setting; Plumber Trades License; Designation as an Oil Burner Technician; Minimum G2 Gas Technician license; Basic computer skills; Knowledge in SAP is considered an asset.
Your Work Schedule
Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine Site; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
