The Opportunity: We?re hiring experienced Excavator Operators to join our team. If you're safety-focused, work well in a team, and have experience moving earth with precision, we?d like to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Be able to cut to finish.
• GPS experience will be an asset.
• Read grade stakes.
• Dig and slope ditches.
• Dig ponds.
• Load rock trucks safely in a fast paced environment.
• Able to safely work in a congested work site with many other pieces of equipment including Scrapers, Dozers, Rock Trucks, Packers, etc..
• Maintain clear and effective communication with ground crew, supervisors, and fellow operators
• Monitor job site and equipment conditions, reporting any safety concerns or mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., OHS)

Qualifications: Skills, Education, and Experience

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate with supervisor and other operators on the 2-way radio, and complete all required paperwork.
• Minimum 3Years Experience as a Finishing Dozer Operator
• Must have reliable transportation

Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts, including weekends, as required (weather permitting).

Special Demands:

• Operators will be exposed to constant vibrations and rough terrain, resulting in frequent jostling and body movements.
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment multiple times per shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
