<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Canuck Trailers is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding enclosed trailer frames and components to company specifications. This role requires experience with MIG welding, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and maintaining high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced production environment.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Fabricate and weld steel trailer frames, tongues, crossmembers, ramps, and structural components</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and fabrication drawings</li><li>Operate welding and fabrication equipment including MIG welders, grinders, saws, drills, and cutting tools</li><li>Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components accurately</li><li>Ensure trailer frames are square, level, and built to specification</li><li>Inspect welds and completed assemblies for quality and structural integrity</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Assist with trailer assembly and production when required</li><li>Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards</li><li>Work efficiently to meet production timelines and deadlines</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Qualifications & Skills</p><ul><li>Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication required</li><li>MIG welding experience required (CWB certification considered an asset)</li><li>Experience building trailers, utility trailers, or structural steel is an asset</li><li>Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements</li><li>Strong attention to detail and workmanship</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment</li><li>Experience using fabrication tools and shop equipment safely</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated</li></ul></div></div>
