Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
