About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff.
