Software Developer Analyst - Level 3 – London Administration

We are currently hiring aful****l-time contract Software Developer Analyst - Level 3 to support our London Administration team. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, education/training and internal equity. Our compensation practices are equitable and transparent, and support progression through the salary range as employees grow in the role.

The Software Developer Analyst Level 3 will design, develop and maintain enterprise software applications, providing credit union staff and credit union members with access to information in a cost effective and timely manner, while managing and supporting small team software development sub tasks with other developers assigned.

This role is for a1yearcontract.

The Role:

  • Specialization in one of the areas of: Web Development, Application Development, and/or C++ unmanaged code development.
  • Specializing in the design and development of custom applications for deployment throughout the enterprise.
  • Architect software solutions that are open-ended to allow for growth of functionality as the credit union evolves, and which will minimize risk of future maintenance or redesign efforts.
  • Design and develop applications that will maintain and augment the database while ensuring the integrity and security of the database.
  • Analyze and interpret written business requirements and technical specifications and perform coding to written specifications
  • Analyze and investigate software problems reported to development team, and suggest potential corrections for issue.
  • Responsible for performing maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
  • Manage small team software development sub tasks with Software Developer Analyst - Level 1 and/or Level 2 employees, reporting to supervisor
  • Co-ordinate workload and resource assignment, ensuring on-time sub task completion and successful project integration.
  • Research and review new technologies to understand and recommend where these technologies may help solve business requirements.
  • Act as high-level support in the escalation of computer and application related problems to assist Branch and other Administration office staff.
  • Provide support for Software Developer Analyst L1 and/or L2 problem resolution and escalation.
  • Assist in the recovery of computer systems to minimize downtime.
  • Provide weekend and after hours support as required, for month end and after hours problem resolution, and in support of code releases.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Do you have a specialization in one of the areas of: Web Development, Application Development, and/or C++ unmanaged code development?

  • Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent?

  • Do you have 8 years of relevant work experience?

  • Do you have strong skills in .NET, VB, SQL, C/C++, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, React.js, TypeScript, CI/CD, Agile development, API development, Microservice architecture, and Distributed systems?

  • A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
