Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Maintenance General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You are responsible for the timely upkeep of reliability for operational machinery of the mine. Key awareness around availabilities with scheduled and opportune servicing. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Supervises and coordinates the mechanical crew to ensure work is performed safely, correctly and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity; Holds daily safety huddles and communicates effectively with the crew; Supports and directs lead hands in crew line ups; Ensures crews are trained to work in a safe, productive and environmentally sound manner; Inspects work to identify training needs and deficiencies; Ability to provide coaching; Supervises and manages performance in step with set KPI’s including planned and responsive maintenance and shutdowns; Ability to motivate and instruct crew members. Review and sign off on work orders in SAP/CMMS; Communicate with other departments; Assist in revising programs, procedures, and parts; Complete employee performance evaluations and reviews; All other duties as may be assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
Secondary School Diploma; Heavy Duty Mechanic License; Leadership experience; Underground Experience an asset; Supervisory common core an asset; Ability to keep accurate records and documentation; Fluent with Microsoft word/excel; Experience in supervisory role preferred; Experience in underground mining environment preferred.
