VEERUM empowers industrial companies with digital twin technology that helps teams visualize, understand, and optimize complex assets. We’re building scalable, secure, and reliable platforms that support customers around the world, and we’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us keep those platforms performing at their best.
In this role, you’ll help ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of VEERUM’s cloud infrastructure and platforms. You’ll work closely with software engineering and security teams to improve automation, reduce operational toil, optimize performance, and strengthen operational excellence across the technology stack.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building reliable systems, and driving continuous improvement through modern SRE and AI-assisted engineering practices.
What You’ll Do Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Develop and enhance automation to reduce operational overhead and improve efficiency. Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CDK, and Ansible. Monitor distributed systems and improve observability across applications and infrastructure. Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to ensure service reliability. Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term improvements. Collaborate with development and security teams to improve system performance and resilience. Support and enhance AI-Led Continuous Development (AILCD) practices across the software lifecycle. Establish governance and validation processes for AI-generated code and infrastructure artifacts. Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical best practices and knowledge sharing.
What We Look For on a Resume Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure. Strong experience building and supporting AWS-based environments and serverless architectures. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK. Experience with containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and observability tools. Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Go. Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor other engineers.
