About The Role
As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Samsara, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products used by global customers. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful design initiatives that enhance safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in product design with a focus on UX/UI. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and successful projects is essential. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Illustrator is required, alongside familiarity with AI-powered design solutions. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments is highly desirable, as is the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines. Responsibilities
Lead and execute high-impact design projects that deliver measurable customer and business value. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, and timelines. Engage directly with customers through interviews, feedback sessions, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design solutions. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate concepts and facilitate user testing. Mentor and influence team members to foster a strong design culture within the organization. Advocate for Samsara’s cultural principles, ensuring they are reflected in design practices and team interactions. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques to continuously improve product offerings. Support the scaling of design efforts by establishing best practices and contributing to the development of design systems.
