What You’ll Be Doing

This role will support performance analysis across utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage assets, providing opportunities to develop expertise across multiple renewable energy technologies.

Identifying performance improvement opportunities, supporting their implementation, monitoring asset health, and helping manage technical and financial risks. Analyzing operational data to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and deliver actionable insights to clients. Collaborating closely with the analytics team to develop and execute monitoring and performance analysis plans for renewable energy and energy storage assets. Providing technical expertise during internal meetings and client discussions. Supporting investigations into equipment performance, operational events, and asset availability issues. Taking ownership of analytics projects and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies. Sharing knowledge and supporting the development of less experienced team members.

What You’ll Need

Knowledge of the technical and commercial drivers of renewable energy and energy storage asset performance. 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage, asset management, engineering, operations, performance analytics, or a related field. Experience in the design, commissioning, operation, performance analysis, or asset management of renewable energy or energy storage projects. Familiarity with SCADA systems, data historians, monitoring platforms, and operational performance analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau or Power BI). Experience working with large operational datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Bonus

Experience with utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), including battery management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS), or power conversion systems (PCS). Experience with solar, wind, hydro, or other renewable energy technologies. Experience working with a renewable energy developer, asset owner, OEM, utility, or engineering consultancy. Familiarity with electricity markets, dispatch optimization, or energy trading concepts. Experience collaborating with teams across multiple time zones. Additional language skills are an asset, as we collaborate with customers and colleagues around the world.
