• Established paving company is looking for an Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team!

• Operate the roller and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

-Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

-Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, ensuring appropriate speed based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness.

• Assist the team when needed with digging, prepping base work, spreading, and raking asphalt

• Ensure the job site is clean and free of excess material.

-Minimum 5 years experience within the construction industry, 2 years on an asphalt roller.

-Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

-Must be safety minded and willing to work as a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$33.50 per hour
