On behalf of our client, PRO-DENT Laboratory, The Warrington Group is recruiting for a Dental Laboratory Technician (Casting Department) to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Their team is made up of highly skilled technicians and support professionals who take pride in producing precise, high-quality restorations that help improve patient outcomes. As the laboratory continues to grow, they are seeking a Dental Laboratory Technician to join their Casting Department.
The Opportunity: This hands-on role focuses on the casting, trimming, polishing, and finishing of metal frameworks used in dental prosthetics. Working within a specialized department, you will contribute to producing highly detailed restorations that require craftsmanship, patience, and precision.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team in a stable and growing laboratory where quality, consistency, and attention to detail are highly valued.
Candidates with previous dental laboratory experience are encouraged to apply; however, individuals with strong metalworking backgrounds and exceptional manual dexterity may also be considered.

You may come from a dental laboratory environment, jewellery making, precision metalwork, tool and die, mold making, watch repair, or another highly skilled trade where manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
Requirements Perform casting, trimming, and polishing of metal frameworks Work on cast partial dentures and related components Interpret lab prescriptions and technical specifications Maintain consistency and quality in finished products Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines Qualifications: Previous experience in a dental laboratory environment is considered an asset Experience with casting, polishing, finishing, or working with intricate metal components is preferred Experience with cast partial frameworks (RPDs) is considered an asset Exposure to zirconia workflows is considered an asset Strong manual dexterity and exceptional attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, organized, and able to work independently when required Candidates with experience in jewellery making, watch repair, precision metal work, tool and die, mold making, or similar trades are encouraged to apply
Benefits $28–$33 per hour, based on experience Full-time, 40 hours per week Overtime opportunities available Health benefits offered after probation Vacation: 2 weeks annually Relocation support available for the right candidate On-site role based in Halifax, Nova Scotia
