This is a unionized environment, with an hourly wage of $29.52/hr.
What You’ll Be Doing

Carry out general grounds maintenance duties such as litter picking, shoveling, and site clean-up

Use hand tools and equipment (e.g., litter pickers, shovels, and other maintenance tools) safely and effectively

Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Work independently while coordinating with team members to ensure efficient daily operations

Work extended daily schedules of up to 11 hours, with the possibility of reaching 60 hours per week on a semi-regular basis

Adapt to varying start and end times depending on site needs and weather conditions

Work Saturdays as required, including extended hours around Statutory Holidays

Perform physically demanding tasks including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs on uneven terrain

Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and members of the public
Here’s What You Need

High school diploma, or equivalent experience
-
Valid G Class Driver’s License
-
Able to lift parts or pieces weighing 50 lbs on your own throughout a shift

Able to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year
-
Experience operating a skid steer/man lift equipment
-
DZ Class Driver’s License is an asset
